So it seems that ‘The Lorax’ is now being used to advertise SUV’s.

Isint that completely against the movies message? Thats like using Finding Nemo in advertisements that encourage the tropical pet industry.

I mean, dont get me wrong. Animation is a commercial industry and that should come as no surprise. There is still work and passion and creativity that goes behind every movie you see, that comes from people who work hard and are extremely dedicated and this doenst undermind the work they do.

but its so obvious when someone refuses to do the creativity justice and just use it to push a product - and i’m not just talking about the movie (which already has enough people up in arms)  but the original source content as well. Again , this isint NEW in the movie/animation industry when you have businessmen making the final calls - but this example is so painfully in our face.
